Our mission is to protect and improve the lives of animals through our “no kill” spay/neuter advocacy, to include a strong support of community Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR), compassionate care, humane education, responsible placement, and the prevention of cruelty within our community.
Summers County Humane Society / Animal Control and Welfare Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving and improving animal lives. We rely exclusively on community donations, grants, and volunteers to accomplish our work.
Spay & Neuter Advocacy
We receive donations and grants which are 100% dedicated to financially assisting Summers County communities to reduce pet overpopulation and improve animal health.
“TNR”: Trap, Neuter (Spay) Release can make a difference in your community.
Fostering & Adoption
Matching pets with caring families while providing fosters with food and medical support.
With the support of our community, we provide lifesaving programs and compassionate care for pets in need, from spay and neuter services to fostering and adoption. Together, we ensure that every animal has the chance to live a healthier, happier life in a loving home.
Spay/neuter clinics, medical care, placement of animals, and humane education programs.
We provide all medical care for pets in our program and supply food and kennels for fosters when available.
